About
Raul Aguiar is a graphic designer and illustrator from Recife (PE), currently living and working in São Paulo.
After graduating from Federal University of Pernambuco with a degree in Design, he worked for Corisco Design before taking a position as professor of illustration at Barros Melo Integrated Faculties.
While teaching there, he founded Studio Aurora, a web design and illustration office, along with two partners, working for clients such as Iquine, Globo Publishing, and Jynx Playware.
In October of 2009, he was invited to coordinate OJE’s art department, company created from the merge of some of the most successful game developers of Pernambuco (Jynx Playware, Meantime and Manifesto).
After concluding his game projects at OJE, Raul kept working at Studio Aurora until December of 2010, where he developed jobs for Sítio do Picapau Amarelo, Época Negócios magazine, Crescer magazine, Kook and Gama Arquitetura, among others.
